Bedouin Culture Hikes
Overview
Live like a Bedouin for 7, 10 or 14 days with Bedouin Paths. Nestled in the High Mountain Region of South Sinai lies the town of St Katherine, home to St Katherines monastery and Mt Sinai (of Moses fame). You will visit the monastery and climb Mt Sinai, but you will also hike in the mountains and surrounding desert as well as gaze upon ancient ruins and modern Bedouin gardens. Your 10 days with the Bedouin will go from the coastal deserts to the top of the mountains (around 7,500 ft or 2,285m) and involve medium level hiking. It is warm during the day (especially in the desert) but can get cold in the mountains at night, so bring some warm clothes.
