The Bedouin Bus Service

Getting to St Katherine from Dahab can be frustrating since the public bus is not the most reliable and taxis are very expensive (over 200 LE, which is about £20). Getting back from St Katherine has the same problem and that is why we decided to start the Bedouin Bus service.
We run twice a day between the two towns for a low cost fare of 45 LE each way.
The journey is around 130 Km and takes between 90 and 100 minutes.

Ethical

10% of the fare goes to our ethical work which is funding a local school in St Katherine as well as rebuilding the Bedouin settlements in the mountains.

So come and enjoy the delight of St Katherine with the Bedouin Bus.

Bus schedule:

Dahab to St Katherine:
we pick-up at ALL the below hotels:
8am final departure from Sheikh Salam House, arriving St Katherines
approx: 9:30am (drop-off either the Monastery or the Bedouin Camp)

4:00pm final departure from Sheikh Salam House, arriving St Katherines
approx:5:30pm(drop-off either the Monastery or the Bedouin Camp)

PLEASE BE AT HOTEL NO LATER THAN 20 MINUTES PRIOR TO DEPARTURE TIME

St Katherine to Dahab: departure always from the Bedouin Camp
1pm departure from Bedouin Camp, arriving Dahab approx 2:30pm
(drop-off at below Hotels)

7pm departure from Bedouin Camp, arriving Dahab approx: 8:30pm (drop-off at below Hotels)
